A few associations with Spain; Almodovar, Miro, Dali, tapas, flamenco, Nadal and Real Madrid. That seems about right. But what about software simulators for the United States Navy – the only non-American supplier? Or control systems for 30% of the world’s air traffic? From Spain? From Indra? From whom? That’s a bit of a surprise.
The new Spain has a number of leaders in specialised technologies. Indra is one of them. Indra, based in Madrid, employs 29,000 people and operates in more than 90 countries. It is an intrinsic part of the new Spain and recently appointed Saffron to help them demonstrate and promote technological identities and strengths.
Over the past few years Indra has acquired its two major competitors, so the task facing Saffron was to help create a single coherent idea after the merger, demonstrate Spanish creativity in the technology world, differentiate Indra from its global competitors and create a visual system which underlined Indra’s particular and specific strengths.
Another way of saying that is that Saffron helped to translate Indra’s knowledge into value. Have a look at the illustrations.
