Gas Natural, for decades the leading Spanish player in the global gas industry, recently acquired Unión Fenosa, Spain’s third-largest power company.
With this acquisition, Gas Natural has merged its gas and power businesses into a single company that will be a major player in the increasingly competitive energy sector.
Today, Gas Natural Fenosa is a leading multinational in the gas and power sectors, operating in 23 countries with more than 20 million customers worldwide.
Saffron’s initial role was to evolve Gas Natural’s brand identity to reflect the integration of the two companies. This new identity was just launched. The new name reflects the joining of the two companies; the emblematic butterfly remains as a symbol of continuity and brand values.
