The Lean Startup

Your next book – if you haven’t read it already!

We stumbled across this on our bookshelf the other day and were reminded of how insightful and relevant it still is.

Written in 2011, it creates a frame of reference for building an organisational culture that tolerates risk and encourages innovation, even in the face of extreme uncertainty. Ignoring the conventional wisdom of elaborate business plans and detailed strategy, it suggests that innovative and entrepreneurial businesses need to test, adapt, adjust and iterate their way to success. Familiar thinking now but less so 5 years ago – and well worth adding to your library if it isn’t already.
